- Find OBD port usually located below the dashboard.
- Connect OBD Wi-Fi cable.
- Start vehicle.
- On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings -> Wi-Fi.
- Select the Wi-Fi device from the list of available networks. The network could be listed as PLXDevices, CLKDevices or something similar.
- Select the accessory button from the selected network device.
- Set "Auto-Join" to ON.
- Select the "Static" IP Address button.
- Set the IP Address to 192.168.0.12 or some other unused address within the subnet mask. Note: The OBD Wi-Fi device is usually defaulted to 192.168.0.10, so do not use that IP address.
- Set the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0
- Exit back to home screen and start the application.
- If successfully configured, you should see the application attempting to connect. Otherwise, an error message will be displayed.
