How to Connect Using OBD Wi-Fi

  1. Find OBD port usually located below the dashboard.

  2. Connect OBD Wi-Fi cable.
  3. Start vehicle.
  4. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings -> Wi-Fi.
  5. Select the Wi-Fi device from the list of available networks.  The network could be listed as PLXDevices, CLKDevices or something similar.
  6. Select the accessory button from the selected network device.
  7. Set "Auto-Join" to ON.
  8. Select the "Static" IP Address button.
  9. Set the IP Address to or some other unused address within the subnet mask. Note: The OBD Wi-Fi device is usually defaulted to, so do not use that IP address.

  12. If successfully configured, you should see the application attempting to connect. Otherwise, an error message will be displayed.
